Felix Brill, CEO of Wellershoff & Partners, focuses on global economic analysis. He studied at the University of St. Gallen and the University of Bern, where he got his PhD in economics, and also at the Stockholm School of Economics. After his studies, he worked at UBS, where he was lead analyst for the Swiss economy. Felix regularly lectures at the ETH Zurich and the Swiss Finance Institute.

Klaus W. Wellershoff is chairman of the board of Wellershoff & Partners. He was previously chief economist at the Swiss Bank Corporation and then at UBS. Klaus teaches economics at the University of St. Gallen and works pro bono with several foundations and organisations supporting science, culture and sports.


Thomas Aeschbacher

Thomas Aeschbacher is quantitative research analyst at Wellershoff & Partners. He focuses on investment strategy and looks after and develops our econometric models. Working toward a Master’s in Quantitative Economics and Finance from the University of St. Gallen, Thomas is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.

Gabriel Bartholdi is senior investment strategist at Wellershoff & Partners. Gabriel focuses on equity strategy and tactical asset allocation. He studied business at the University of Applied Sciences in Basel and is a Certified International Investment Advisor. Before joining Wellershoff & Partners, Gabriel headed equity strategy at Bank J. Safra Sarasin.


Dr. Cyril Demaria

Cyril Demaria, Head of Private Markets at Wellershoff & Partners, focuses on illiquid assets. Before getting his PhD in management at University of St. Gallen, he graduated in entrepreneurship at HEC Paris, as well as in Law and Geopolitics from Parisian Universities and Sciences Po Lyon. Cyril founded multiple structures and funds, advised the President of a French bank and worked at UBS CIO, where he was in charge of private markets research. Cyril regularly lectures at the ESCP-Europe, EDHEC and EADA. He is an expert for SECA, AFIC and InvestEurope.

Hanspeter Hausheer is a senior economist at Wellershoff & Partners, focusing on the global economy. After studying economics at the University of Zürich, he spent four decades at UBS as a commodities analyst and economist.

Nadine van Huisseling is the personal assistant to the Chairman of Wellershoff & Partners. She is in charge of coordinating requests for presentations, especially for keynote-addresses and speeches by Prof. Dr. Klaus W. Wellershoff. Nadine has previously worked at several consulting companies and in a family office in Zurich and New York City respectively. She is a graduate of the Schweizerisches Institut für Betriebsökonomie in Zurich and has completed The Secretarial School at the KV Zurich Business School previously.

Christa Janjic-Marti is Head EM Strategy at Wellershoff & Partners. She focuses on emerging economies and investment strategy. Christa studied at the University of Lausanne and at Cambridge University for a Master’s in economics. She was an emerging market economist at UBS Investment Bank in Zurich, Singapore and London before joining Wellershoff & Partners.

Thomas Schäubli is a political risk analyst at Wellershoff & Partners and also manages publications for the firm and its clients. As an analyst Thomas monitors political developments in Switzerland and Europe and tracks the influence of politics on economies and financial markets. Thomas has studied politics at the University of Zurich and the London School of Economics and then got his PhD at the ETH Zurich.


Markus Schmieder

Markus Schmieder is an economist at Wellershoff & Partners. Along with developing our econometric models he concentrates on the Swiss economy. Markus has an economics degree from the University of St. Gallen. He also studied at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong, where he got his Master’s in economics.
