Klaus W. Wellershoff is Chairman of the Board at Wellershoff & Partners. He was previously Chief Economist at the Swiss Bank Corporation and then at UBS. Klaus teaches economics at the University of St. Gallen and works pro bono with several foundations and organisations supporting science, culture and sports.


Dr. Cyril Demaria

Cyril Demaria, Head of Private Markets at Wellershoff & Partners, focuses on less liquid assets. Before receiving his PhD at the University of St. Gallen, he graduated from HEC Paris and holds master’s degrees in Law and Geopolitics from Parisian Universities and the Lyon Institute of Political Studies. Previously, Cyril was in charge of private markets research at the Chief Investment Office of UBS. He is the author of five books on private equity and regularly lectures at EDHEC and EADA. He is an expert for SECA, France Invest and InvestEurope.

Marco Zanchi

Marco is Head of Publications and Editor-in-Chief at Wellershoff & Partners. His professional experience spans journalism and communications, drawing on his career as an investigative business journalist. Prior to joining W&P, Marco advised corporations, think tanks and other organizations on strategic communications. He holds Master’s degrees from Harvard and the University of St. Gallen and he was awarded the Zurich Journalists’ Prize as well as other journalistic honors.

Nadine van Huisseling

Nadine van Huisseling is Personal Assistant to the Chairman of Wellershoff & Partners. She is in charge of coordinating requests for presentations, especially for keynote-addresses and speeches by Prof. Dr. Klaus W. Wellershoff. Nadine has previously worked at several consulting companies and in a family office in Zurich and New York City. She is a graduate of the Swiss Institute for Business Administration in Zurich and has completed The Secretarial School at the KV Zurich Business School previously.

Christa Janjic-Marti is Head of Investment Services at Wellershoff & Partners. She focuses on the investment strategies of Wellershoff & Partners and our clients. Christa studied at the University of Lausanne and at Cambridge University for a Master’s in economics. She was an emerging market economist at UBS Investment Bank in Zurich, Singapore and London before joining Wellershoff & Partners.


Dr. Adriel Jost

Adriel Jost is Head of Economics at Wellershoff & Partners and responsible for our macroeconomic analyses. He previously worked at the Swiss National Bank for seven years, of which three as advisor to the vice chairman of the governing board. He has studied economics in St. Gallen, Singapore and Perth and graduated with a Master in Quantitative Economics and Finance as well as a PhD in International Affairs and Political Economy from the University of St. Gallen.

Beatrice Kählin

Beatrice Kählin is responsible for Human Resources at Wellershoff & Partners. She also takes care of accounting and all other administrative tasks. Her career began at the UBS Bern, after which she gathered experience in many different firms and banks. She has a degree in management assistance.


Dr. Costa Vayenas

Costa Vayenas is Senior Investment Consultant at Wellershoff & Partners. Previously he worked as an analyst for UBS in London, New York and Zurich. His recent roles included Head of Research and Head of Credit for emerging markets. He has lectured at the University of Zurich as well as the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH). He is the author of numerous investment-related publications about emerging markets, and is active in the digital start-up sector.
