Dr. Klaus W. Wellershoff

Chief Executive Officer

Klaus Wellershoff is the CEO of Wellershoff & Partners, an international business and family consultancy that specializes in economic and financial market analysis, cognitive risk management and family governance.

From 1995 to 2009, Klaus Wellershoff worked for UBS, serving as Chief Economist starting in 1997. As of 2003, he lead the research department for the UBS Wealth Management and Business Banking division. He was also the director of the Investment Committee for this division of the bank.

Klaus Wellershoff began his career in the bank training program at the Cologne private bank Sal. Oppenheim & Cie. He studied economics and business management science, receiving his doctorate from the University of St. Gallen. During his studies, he was appointed visiting fellow in the Department of Economics at Harvard University. Since 2011 he is Honorary Professor of applied economics at the University of St. Gallen and President of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Economics.

Klaus Wellershoff is a member of the Board of Directors of Schindler Holding AG and the Institute of Economics at the University of St. Gallen, and Member of the Board of Trustees of the World Demographic & Aging Forum.

He  completed his military service in the German Navy is married and the father of four sons.

Nadja Bleuler

Nadja Bleuler
Economist

Nadja Bleuler studied International Relations and Quantitative Economics at University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and HEC Montreal in Canada. Before working for Wellershoff & Partners she was working at Wegelin & Co. Asset Management fort two years where she focused on tactical asset allocation and quantitative investment strategies.

At Wellershoff & Partners Nadja Bleuler focuses mostly on the analysis of financial and economic developments and their impact on investment portfolios. In particular she focuses on fixed income markets and models for strategic and tactical investment decisions.

Felix Brill

Dr. Felix Brill
Chief Economist

Felix Brill is a partner at Wellershoff & Partners. As chief economist he is responsible for global macroeconomic analysis and for economic early warning systems that target the identification of sector-specific trends and risk scenarios as early as possible.

Felix Brill studied economics in St. Gallen and Stockholm and received his PhD from the University of Bern. Before joining Wellershoff & Partners, he served as the lead economist for the Swiss economy at UBS Wealth Management Research, where he was responsible for business cycle analysis and macroeconomic forecasting.

Dr. Hans-Ludwig Dankwardt

Dr. Hans-Ludwig Dankwardt
Business Consulting and Political Analyst

Dr. Hans-Ludwig Dankwardt is a partner at Wellershoff & Partners Ltd. His Expertise lies in business consulting and the political analysis of Europe and the Middle East for financial intermediaries and industrial companies.

Prior to his engagement at Wellershoff & Partners Hans-Ludwig Dankwardt worked for Deutsche Bank AG and the management consulting arm of GBR Ernst & Young, Hewlett-Packard and Hitachi in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Hans-Ludwig Dankwardt was trained as a banker at Deutsche Bank AG in Hamburg and studied International Relationships at the University of St. Gallen. He earned his Ph.D. in Contemporary History at the University of the German Military in Munich.

He is married and father of two sons and a daughter.

Oliver Dettmann

Oliver Dettmann
Senior Investment Strategist

Oliver Dettmann is senior investment strategist at Wellershoff & Partners Ltd. He specializes in tactical asset allocation with emphasis on equity markets and focuses on value oriented investment strategies.

Prior to joining Wellershoff & Partners, Oliver Dettmann worked for UBS Wealth Management as an investment strategist analyzing European and emerging equity markets. In addition, he worked as a business consultant in the Group Strategy team of UBS and as an equity analyst for Deka Investment GmbH in Frankfurt. Oliver Dettmann studied finance and econometrics in Berlin and Copenhagen and graduated with a degree in economics from the Freie Universität Berlin. He is a CFA charterholder.

Hanspeter Hausheer

Hanspeter Hausheer
Senior Economist

Hanspeter Hausheer is a senior economist at the international consulting firm Wellershoff & Partners Ltd. For more than 40 years, Hanspeter Hausheer worked for UBS in Switzerland. After working as a precious metals analyst, Hanspeter Hausheer became an economist at UBS Investment Bank Research and later UBS Wealth Management Research as Executive Director.

Hanspeter Hausheer studied economics at the University of Zurich and acquired several diplomas and additional qualifications in the area of banking and finance while working for UBS.

Hanspeter Hausheer lives in Zug, where he was politically active for many years.

Joachim Klement

Joachim Klement
Chief Investment Officer

Joachim Klement is a partner at Wellershoff & Partners. He specializes in investment management, asset allocation advice and the impact of personal values and investor psychology on investment decisions. He particularly emphasizes the impact of emotions on investor behavior and financial markets and helps wealth managers, asset managers and family offices improve their investment processes and client services.

Before joining Wellershoff & Partners, Joachim Klement spent six years at UBS Wealth Management in Zurich, first as an investment consultant for institutional clients and then as Head Asset Allocation Strategy and Head Equity Strategy.

Joachim Klement graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zürich) with a degree in Mathematics and from the University of Hagen, Germany with a degree in Finance. Additionally, he is a CFA charter holder and a CFP® certificant.

Robin Miranda

Robin E. Miranda
Chief Risk Officer

Robin Miranda is a partner at Wellershoff & Partners. She specializes in the emerging fields of cognitive risk management and family governance.

Prior to joining Wellershoff & Partners, Robin Miranda spent nine years at UBS, first in the Equity Strategy team for the UBS Investment Bank in New York, then in the research division of the Wealth Management and Business Banking division.

Prior to joining UBS, she worked as a project director for the National Academy Foundation (NAF) where she helped manage the Academy of Finance programs. NAF was started by Sanford Weill and creates US high school programs that combine business studies with real-world business internships for participating students.

Robin Miranda is a graduate in philosophy from San Diego State University. Additionally, she is a CFP® certificant.

Sabine Weiersmüller

Sabine Weiersmüller
Chief Administration Officer

Sabine Weiersmüller is a partner at Wellershoff & Partners. She completed her formal apprenticeship with the local Swiss communal government before working for a variety of public companies and administrative agencies as a personal assistant to the CEO. She has also acted as a personal assistant to a Cantonal Executive Council in Zurich. Her main expertise was developed in the consulting industry, however, she has also worked for two medium-sized industrial companies. Before joining Wellershoff & Partners, where she helped start the new company, Sabine worked for UBS.

At Wellershoff & Partners, Sabine Weiersmüller is responsible for all aspects of administration - from finance to salaries and insurance. In addition, she acts as the contact person for all presentation requests. She also organizes the presentations and public appearances for Klaus Wellershoff, whom she supports as a personal assistant.
